Listener’s Testimony “Bearing Witness for the Light”

Dear Teacher Zhen’er，I was deeply moved after listening to the May 2nd episode of「My Family’s Living Room titled “A Special Love for a Special You,” especially the line “in this world there are no children with special needs–there are only parents with special expectations.” This morning I was upset because my child didn’t want to go to the gathering, but after listening to the program I realized that no child God gives is a mistake–the unmet expectations lies with the parents. I learned how much I need to turn my eyes back on God and to love my family with Christ-like love.

I listen to the “Embrace Every Day” program every day and it has truly helped me lot in terms of my marriage and raising children. I started listening to your program in March of this year, and I am very grateful for the Lord’s guidance and preparation. The program’s content is easy to understand, and the brothers’ and sisters’ testimonies are genuine and moving. I have benefited greatly from tuning in. Now, when I am doing housework, I tune into the program and it helps me patiently finish doing housework–a win-win situation. Through the program, many brothers and sisters shared their testimonies–testimonies of their innermost sins and bitterness, even sharing unbearable pain. But through their personal stories, they testified that there is no fear in love, that God brings joy through his healing, and the Lord’s grace is sufficient for us. Through these programs, I’ve been able to see that the Lord truly loves me. Although I haven’t been able to live a life with a strong testimony, I hope that I can bear witness for the Lord and testify how He has changed my life.

Brother Yuze, hello! Last night, I couldn’t sleep because of some things on my mind, so I got up and listened to yesterday’s program. I first started listening to your program at my lowest, most difficult point of my life–and it has accompanied me for three years. In the past, the “Good Shepherd” public account had only a few programs; now with the new app, I can listen to a lot more programs. I really like to listen in and will sometimes take notes while listening. With the new app, I often use my portable speaker in my shop and have the programs play one after the other, from when I open the shop and until closing. This way even customers who come in can also hear the good news of the gospel. I originally bought the sound system to play in-store promotions; now I don’t need to run ads–I just play the gospel programs.

I started listening to FEBC Gospel Radio this April and heard about the program “It’s So Good To Know You”! I absolutely love it! I thank God for the history of FEBC! Countless predecessors and you (the current coworkers) have dedicated yourselves to this cause for many years, working tirelessly to spread the Gospel throughout the world through FEBC, saving and blessing millions!
